Burlat

Burlat is an early variety of sweet cherries. The fruit is vivid to dark red, mid-sized or large, very sweet and juicy, with medium firm flesh. As it is very precocious it is not vermicular. It is partly self-fertile but benefits from being pollinated by another early cherry. It likes slightly acidic, moist soil. Fully hardy.

Stella

Dark red fleshed fruits with the sweetest flavour, that can be harvested from mid July to August. A Canadian bred variety, Cherry 'Stella' makes an attractive tree both in flower or when laden with fruit.

Bing

Bing cherries are used almost exclusively for fresh market. Bings are large, dark and firm cherries that ship well, but will crack open if exposed to rain near harvest. Bing cherries are high in anti-oxidants.

Lambert

Large, dark reddish purple fruit is firm and sweet. Pollinize with Van, Sam or a sour cherry.

Sunburst

Cherry 'Sunburst' makes an attractive tree both in flower or when laden with fruit. A slightly earlier cropping variety than 'Stella', from mid July this dessert variety produces large dark red, almost black cherries of the sweetest flavour. The high quality fruits store well for a short period after picking.

Regina

Regina(TM) is a new dark sweet cherry bred in Europe. It is dark red with reddish flesh and sweet tart flavor. The large fruit is exceptionally firm and more crack and split resistant than most sweet cherries. It ripens late in the season about 10-14 days fater Bing and must be pollinated by another late blooming sweet cherry.

Kordia

Kordia is a new black cherry variety, which has quickly become popular with both commercial growers and gardeners on account of the large fruit size, glossy black skin, and excellent flavour, Kordia cherries are also resistant to the splitting caused by summer rain.

Lapins

Lapins is a large dark red juicy cherry with a mild sweet/sharp flavour, and will appeal to those who like cherries but prefer a milder flavour. Lapins is self-fertile and can be considered an improved Stella (which is one of its parents).

Van

Van is the quintessential sweet red dessert cherry, and a bowl of Van cherries makes a wonderful centrepiece to a summer dining table. The flesh is firm, and the flavour is superb. Best eaten straight from the tree!

Lionska rana

Canadian inbred variety, medium early flowering. It ripens in the middle of the fourth week of ripening cherries. The fruit is cordate in shape, dark red. It tastes sweet and very juicy. It gives high yields.
